Missionary Flight Training primary vision and passion is to devote our focus and energies training those who have a desire to serve the needs of humanity. We will do myour best to see to it that these aviation candidates have good safe airplanes to train with, a great program to follow and that they will be able to finish their training debt free. With these goals in mind we have located and purchased a very nice training aircraft. Through a loan from a generous board member we have stepped out in faith to purchase the plane pictured above. It is a 1976 Cessna 172 with a Penn Yan 180 horse conversion. It only has 60 hours on a complete overhaul, is very well cared for. It had a Garmin 430 IFR certified GPS installed less than a year ago.
From the very earliest days of our ministry, aviation has played an important role. A small team of dedicated, missionaries and pilots carried missionaries and supplies to the Caribbean.
Jim Howard (CFII/MEI) is a certified flight instructor for single and multi-engine airplanes. He is a veteran missionary, who loves to share his passion for missions and aviation to students who want to fulfill their dream of flying!
Our training aircraft is a 1976 Cessna Skyhawk. This airplane is certified for private, Instrument and the majority of commercial training
